WHY MEMBERSHIP MATTERS
When you become a member of Millcreek Paramedic Service, you will receive a reduction in your out-of-pocket expense when ambulance transportation is provided (by Millcreek Paramedic Service and deemed to be medically necessary with medical necessity meeting CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) guidelines.
With an MPS membership, you are entitled to a $125 discount off of any out-of-pocket expense when the below criteria are met.
No discount is provided if
1) there is no medical necessity for ambulance transportation
2) no transport occurs (i.e. lift assist or a refusal where the patient is not transported)
3) any other service besides MPS transports you
4) paramedic assists by other services.
Medically necessary non-emergent stretcher transportation within a 150-mile radius of Millcreek Township is also a service that Millcreek Paramedic Service is able to provide based on availability.
Any out-of-pocket expense for medically necessary services is reduced by $125 with a valid Millcreek Paramedic Service membership just as with emergency 911 transportation, up to 5 trips per year.
BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
Insurance will be billed for emergency transportation that meets medical necessity guidelines and any out-of-pocket expense for those transports will be reduced by $125.
Membership only covers expenses where a patient is transported. If no transport occurs, no membership benefit is available
Membership coverage is available if transported in a Millcreek Paramedic Service ambulance. No coverage is available if transported by any other agency.
Your membership covers up to $125 of any out-of-pocket expense that you may incur for non-emergency stretcher transportation, provided that the service is deemed medical necessary under CMS guidelines.
To be eligible for Senior Membership, all members must be 65+
